The world around us is a cataclysm, a storm of epic proportions that seeks to destroy the foundations of faith and truth that enable us to have a relationship with our Creator. Here at The Harbor, you can find shelter from the storm in a loving environment that will always point to THE Truth. There is a way out…and His name is Yeshua—Jesus.
ABOUT US
Our mission at The Harbor is to spread the good news about Jesus Christ.
We do this by encouraging an active Christian lifestyle consisting of in-depth Bible studies, times of worship, times of fellowship, and other various outreach ministries.
At the Harbor, our focus is on relationship, not religion.
WHAT WE BELIEVE:
The Bible is God’s word. It is
the basis for what we believe
and what we do.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God,
Who died for our sins
and rose from the dead.
(1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
Every person has worth
as a creation of God,
but each one has sinned
and fallen short of
the glory of God.
(Romans 3:21-24)
Forgiveness of sins and
the promise of eternal life
are available to all
who trust Christ
as Savior and Lord.
(John 3:16)
Those accepting Christ should
repent of sin, confess their faith
and be baptized into Him.
(Romans 10:9 and Acts 2:38)
The current mission of the church
is to give God glory
and tell others about Him,
seeking to make disciples
in all nations.
(Matthew 28:18-20)
WHAT WE SAY:
Do you know Jesus…
and does He know you?
If you do not choose Jesus,
then you have chosen Satan.
If you are a believer,
then the power
that raised Jesus Christ
from the dead
lives in you!
Give God glory…
and tell others about Him!
Love God, love other people…
nothing else matters!
You will never know
what is worth living for…
until you decide
what is worth dying for.
Real life begins
where our comfort zone ends.

IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT WITH US...
Our Sunday Morning Worship Service usually runs about 90 minutes (11:00 AM to 12:30 PM). Sometimes it’s less…sometimes it’s more. We don’t put God into a box; we let the Holy Spirit direct us, but we do follow a structure based upon Acts 2:42. Before the service, church announcements are displayed on the screen in the sanctuary as we greet each other in the foyer or in the sanctuary and get caught up on the events of the past week. We especially greet our visitors and make sure that they are comfortable and are oriented to our facility (location of restrooms, etc.) As the service begins, we acknowledge holidays, birthdays and anniversaries and cover special announcements (all of this constitutes the fellowship). We end this period and begin worship with the blowing of the shofar (a ram’s horn trumpet), then a call to worship, opening prayer and song service (usually 3-4 traditional and/or contemporary songs). The last song will take us into the communion service (the breaking of bread) followed by the offering. We then move into the sermon (the apostles’ teaching), followed by one more song (an invitation/time of reflection). We then end the service with prayer requests and a pastoral prayer (you guessed it…that’s the prayer).
For your youngsters (ages infant to 12), our wonderful volunteers offer a time of play and teaching in the Children’s Section during the worship service.
Feel free to dress casually but modestly — generally, anything from jeans to dress suits, but most people here dress in the middle of that range. Uniformed law enforcement and military personnel are very welcome!
